Unstuck

Tasks for ADHD brains · iOS and Android

One step.
Not the whole list.

Dump what is rattling around in your head. Unstuck breaks it into steps of a few minutes and shows you only the next one.

No account, no ads, no analytics SDK. And no list that shouts at you tomorrow.

Getting going

How you get going again.

  1. Dump it, without sorting

One field, one paragraph, all of it. Sorting is exactly where people get stuck, so the app does that part.

  2. Broken into minutes, not projects

AI suggests steps estimated at 5, 15 or 30 minutes. A step you believe you can do is the only one that ever starts.

  3. Only ever the next one

The list stays out of sight until you want it. One step on screen, with a “Not now” that costs nothing.

  4. Done is a feeling, not a checkbox

What you finish grows something in the garden. Nothing flashes red, nothing gets logged against you, nothing has to be caught up.

Your data

What leaves your device.

The breaking-down is done by a language model. That cannot happen without transmission, so here is what gets transmitted.

stays here

Tasks, steps, routines, streaks, focus sessions and settings. They live in a local database. There is no Unstuck account and no automatic sync.

leaves

The text you ask to have broken down — a brain dump or a single task, encrypted to our worker and from there to Anthropic. Anthropic is bound to equivalent protection under its Commercial Terms and Data Processing Addendum and does not use these inputs to train its models. The app asks for your consent before the first hand-off; you can withdraw it in Settings.

leaves

Technical request data: IP address, a pseudonymous app user ID, platform details and daily counters. No task text is in there.

stays here

The encrypted backup. Encrypted with your passphrase, read back for verification, then handed to the share sheet. We receive neither the file nor the passphrase.

Fruhji does not write the decomposed text to its database, cache, quota store or application logs. Anthropic normally deletes commercial API inputs and outputs within 30 days and does not use them for model training by default. App versions before 3.5.2 additionally send an installation identifier and an Apple App Attest or Google Play Integrity proof; current versions no longer send these. Everything else is in the privacy policy.

What Unstuck is not.

  • Not treatment, not a diagnosis.Unstuck is a task tool, not a medical device. It diagnoses nothing and replaces neither therapy nor medication. If you need an assessment, get it from a professional.
  • Not a discipline system. No red warnings, no overdue items shouting at you, no backlog after a break. An app that shames you gets deleted — and then it helps with nothing at all.
  • Not project management. No teams, no assignments, no dependencies. Exactly one head, exactly one next step.

Common questions.

Do I need an ADHD diagnosis?
No. The app is built for brains that stall at the start — a diagnosis is not the entry requirement.
Do I need an account?
No. No sign-up, no email address, no sync between devices.
Does it work offline?
Your tasks, steps, routines and the garden live on the device and are always there. Only the breaking-down needs a connection, because it happens elsewhere.
Will it notify me at night?
No. Reminders are only scheduled between 8am and 10pm; nothing arrives at night.
What does it cost?
Three brain dumps a day are free, as are working through steps, the garden, routines and the focus timer. Pro allows up to 50 AI breakdowns per day. Price and term are on the App Store and Google Play — that is where they are binding.
